For over 10 years, Studio Green has been a part of the San Francisco Unified School District Green Schoolyard Program, creating “green schoolyards” at 11 educational sites. Studio Green in collaboration with 450 Architects, has worked directly with schools, communities, staff, and students to re-envision their exterior spaces and design valuable learning opportunities including outdoor classrooms, outdoor kitchens, vegetable beds, water features, nature and imaginary play areas, topography, and native gardens.
